What's in it for me? Pistachios

Due to the fact that I've been eating pistachios any chance I get, I decided to do a bit of research on the tasty little nuts! Before I continue, I must ask a question: Has anyone turned these into a nut butter? (I've found one recipe..woohoo!)

I'm curious of the endless possibilities for pistachios.

Moving on moving on. PISTACHIOS, they're great. I've always eaten them in the form of pistachio pudding, you know, the beloved green pudding that has little bubbles of powder and small chunks of nut. I ate this all the time growing up, but who knew that the nut itself is good enough! Definitely no need to turn into a pasty powder in my opinion. When I began doing research, I found an article written by Penn State[here]. I'll share the link love, but the article itself is a little hard to stay focused on. Here is some information I've found on the nut!

  1. Can't wait to see what you do with pistachios! I like them, too, though all the cracking is tiring, which is why I don't go overboard. ;)
